Application of Sequencing Batch Biofilm Reactor (SBBR) Using Microalgae Chorella sp. to Removal Nutrient in Grey Water

Grey water contains organic matter that is directly disposed to the environment without any treatment previously, will cause pollution and impacting life in water. Treatment can be done using microorganisms. One of its kind microalgae Chlorella sp. which utilizes as a source nutrients for growth. In this study, Kaldness 1 (K1) bio carrier was added medium attaching microorganisms Sequencing Batch Biofilm Reactor (SBBR) process. The research objectives were (1) know maximum number both attached suspended (SBBR), (2) obtain best cycle time stabilization removal COD, Ammonia, MLSS grey conducted by varying (1.5; 2 2.5 hours) each four cycles with constant variation charging 30 minutes, reaction 120 45 separation carried out cycles, stirring speed at 60 rpm, concentration algae suspension SBBR 25% volume K1 20%. results showed cells 1.85 x 106 1.46 cells/ml. ammonia, found 1.5 hours 4 efficiency 84% 76%, respectively, an increase 4780 mg/l 4720 mg/l.
